Our generic monitors/controllers provide an industry-standard interface to sensors — serial (RS-232), 4-20mA, or 0-5VDC — and low power requirements (AC, battery and/or solar), in compact, rugged enclosures, suitable for a wide range of data-communications and sensor-monitoring applications.
They communicate sensor readings via serial (RS-232), Ethernet, cellular or landline telecom, or satellite communications.

Model 9175-ARFE Modular Local Wifi/RF Wireless Sensor Monitor
(The WiFi/RF Stack™)
|
|
The 9175-ARFE WiFi/RF Stack is a lower-cost model that uses WiFi/RF (radio) signal to transmit data from a sensor to a WiFi or RF receiver, router or switch – or to a regular 9175 Stack (see below) – up to 100 yards away. The receiving unit, in turn, relays the signal to the end-user via other communications (cellular, landline, satellite, Ethernet or RS-232 serial line).
Several lower-cost 9175-ARFE WiFi/RF Stack monitors can thus combine their communications through one full-cost 9175 Stack, radically lowering the overall instrument and communications coats.
The WiFi/RF Stack can monitor a single sensor,
and is available with a wide array of sensor modules to detect many kinds of items or conditions.
Available with battery, solar and/or AC power modules.

The 7082 Contactor™ (above), monitors your simple on/off sensor, switch or device, and relays the information to your cell phone via text alerts or app screens (below).
|
Model 7082 Contactor™
remote cellular monitor
|
|
The Model 7082 Contactor remote cellular monitor is a compact, very-low-cost monitor that monitors your binary (on/off) sensor, switch or device, and uses cellular signaling to transmit change-of-state (on/off) notifications to the ESI Data Center, which immediately relays text messages/alerts to up to 10 text-capable cell phones (of the user's choice), indicating the new state of the monitored switch, sensor or device.
With the free ESI Contactor App, the user can log in from any smartphone (Apple or Android) and...
- See the current status of the sensor that a Contactor is monitoring,
- Receive automatic alerts,
- See the notification history of all their Contactors,
- Configure each Contactor to sense and/or report at specific intervals.
The Contactor can monitor a single on/off sensor (or, optionally, sense power on a 120-VAC line). Long-life battery and compact, weather-resistant case provide flexibility for installation almost anywhere, anytime.

Model 9175 Modular Wireless Sensor Monitor
(The Stack™)
|
|
The Model 9175 ("The Stack") — our most popular and versatile system — is a modular, wireless, multi-sensor monitor.
The Stack reports sensor readings using serial (RS-232), Ethernet, landline, cellular -- the popular SMS (Small Message Service) or new LTE Cat M1 technology -- or satellite communications.
Although The Stack can be configured to work wth any internet-enabled computer, or via other computer communications, or simply via a cellular phone
with communications service — allowing you to to setup and acquire
data from nearly anywhere.
The Stack can monitor from 1 to 99 sensors (using lower-cost secondary monitor units on the additional sensors),
and is available with a wide array of sensor modules to detect many kinds of items or conditions.
Available with battery, solar and/or AC power modules.

Model 9230 Modular Wireless Sensor Monitor
(Short Stack™) |
|
The Model 9230 ("Short Stack™")
— our latest system — is a modular, wireless, one- or two-sensor monitor, based on our most popular product, The Stack™ (Model 9175), noted above.
The Short Stack reports sensor readings using cellular communication, via the new LTE Cat M1 technology.
The only device required for you to receive data is a cellular phone
with communications service — allowing you to to setup and acquire
data from nearly anywhere.
The Short Stack can monitor one or two sensors (using attached and/or external sensors),
and is available with a wide array of sensor modules to detect many kinds of items or conditions.
Available with battery, solar and/or AC power modules.
